Jaavo Privacy Policy

Summary

Jaavo stores all your data locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or share your personal information or job application data.

Data Storage

All job applications, goals, settings, notes, interview schedules, reminders, and garden progress are stored locally on your device using on-device storage (iOS App Group container). This data is not sent to any server, and we do not have access to it.

Purchases

In-app purchases (Jaavo Pro Monthly, 6 Months, and Lifetime) are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. We do not see or store your payment information, Apple ID, or billing details. Apple provides us only with an anonymous receipt confirming your purchase so the app can unlock Pro features on your device and on any other device signed in with the same Apple ID.

Notifications

If you enable notifications, Jaavo schedules local reminders (interview dates, card reminders, goal nudges) directly on your device via iOS. These are handled by iOS and are never sent through our servers.

Feedback

If you choose to submit feedback through the app, your message and, if provided, your email address are sent to a third-party form service (Formspree, operated by Formspree, Inc.) so we can read and respond. Formspree forwards the submission to the developer’s personal email. This is entirely optional and user-initiated. If you do not submit feedback, no data is sent to Formspree.

Analytics

Jaavo does not use any analytics, tracking, advertising, or crash reporting services.

Children’s Privacy

Jaavo is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any personal information from them.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is retained on your device for as long as the app is installed. You can delete individual applications or clear data within the app at any time. Deleting Jaavo from your device permanently removes all of your data — there is no cloud backup or recovery. For subscriptions, cancellation is handled through your Apple ID subscription settings.
